reminiscing

Colorado is a beautiful area...God's handiwork in that state is such a testament to Himself...

not too bad for the old point-and-shoot, eh? And to think these were taken almost two years ago...so much has happened since then, I can't even begin to describe it all...ah, the life God has given us...such a blessing...

Speaking of which, I should probably cut down on the late-night snacks. Looking over at all the empty glasses, various wrappers, and that one granola bar box...college does that to you.

Late night snacks being empty glasses, various wrappers and a granola bar box? Well, if that's what a college snack diet consists of, I'm glad I've never experienced that. ;-) You ought to try ice cream...great source of calcium. :)

BTW, nice pics! I love the fluffy cotton-candy looking cloud ones.

Well, it also included leftover pizza, a can of pringles, and star cookies. But not all in one night, lol. Now I'm getting hungry...and it's after midnight...hmm...

Ice cream? Would that include double fudge chocolate brownie ice cream as the great source of calcium? Calorie intake with that one is ignored, btw...

Yeah, I've acquired something of a sugar addiction in the last year or so...you should see all the wrappers and soda cans/Gatorade bottles (see, I am healthy sometimes!!) littering the inside of my Taurus. Actually, no you shouldn't. Then you might take my Skittles. :-P

Man, those pictures are BEAUTIFUL!!!! Colorado is amazing: the regal mountains majestically overshadowing the plains and hills below, while reaching up into the great blue expanse above them...the sun piercing through the clouds to bathe the snow-capped peaks in gold....the sweet tang of the pine trees' scent...

Ah, I love it. :-)

Oh, you need to check the SDF, Mr. President. Jacob has an important announcement up. :-)

Nice pictures. I've been to CO a couple of times and I am always in awe of them. None of the pics would happen to be Pikes Peak would they?
See ya.

Colin,

You call Gatorade healthy?! Drink water bud...drink water...I've heard it's quite healthy. ;) I doubt I'd take your skittles, but peanut butter cups are a different story. Ah, appears your lit side is coming out again. You could write a ballad about it and post it to the SDF...and I visited the forum yesterday. Oh. my. wow. over 3000 posts. That's...unheard of, as far back as I can remember. And you! posted almost 550 times! lol

Justin,

Thanks! Aye, it's quite nice out there...we're wanting to travel to CO again sometime. (well, at least I wouldn't mind it ;) All of these pics are of the same area: Horn Peak. It's south of the [Colorado] Springs about an hour or two. Y'all coming to church this Sunday?

I do drink lots of water. I just supplement it with soda when I'm driving around...and I don't carry chocolate in my car, as it melts too easily. Only the straight sugar stuff (like Nerds, Skittles, gummi bears, etc.). ;-)

"Lit Major Side": *Halo*

"550 times": *Halo* So I don't have a life. No, actually, a number of those were actually substantive posts about music and literature...oh, and of course there was the theology thread. *Halo*
Well, okay, so I still don't have a life. ;-)

Yeah, I'd say that the calcium intake on the, uh... *scrolls back up to look* double fudge brownie chocolate ice cream counts! And yeah, forget the calories...that part is offensive, so we'll just make it false. :)

Like I said before, these are very nice pictures, but we're kind of looking for something new...I'm sure you'll be obliging and brainstorm something deep and intelligent for us... ;-)

Colin,

I don't think any DLer's really have a life, lol...

Tiffany,

There y'all go...a new post! ;) Though I doubt it fits into the whole "deep and intelligent" category...hehe...
